I have a pair of dua-saf wig-wag lights for sale that I believe were used on Studebaker's in the 36-37 era. They are in good condition never put on a car, currently mounted as bookends. I have the switch that goes on the brake peddle to operate the vacuum. Pictures avaliable asking $500 for the pair plus shipping. E-mail HETjeblakeley@globalserve.net (drop the HET) and I will send pictures and a more accurate description.

NASCAR 1951 Studebaker Record

There hasn't been much Studebaker activity so here is a little NASCAR information for our Studebaker friends. Information from NASCAR ENCYCLOPEDIA.

Studebaker had a consistancy in 1951 NASCAR races that was much better than I thought. 5 known Studebaker drivers acheived these results. Frank Mundy, Danny Weinberg, Don Baily, Speedy Thompson and Cotton Owen. Frank Mundy being the most sucessful Studebaker driver

3 - Wins
2 - 2nd place
1 - 3rd place
3 - 4th place
2 - 5th place
11 - 6th-10th

There may be other Studebaker drives that finished in the top 10. That would increase these results but I do not know their names. Their is a long list of drivers and their top 10 finishes but it does not list the cars they drove.

To make it more difficult is the fact that some drivers did not always drive the same make car for the whole season. Knowing the drivers name and searching all the race tracks results to determine what car they were driving and their finished position, then a more accurate result could be determined.

Have a great day and a merry Christ mas!
