I'm just starting renewal of my '88 Bronco II. Not yet a classic, but by the time I finish what needs doing we will both qualify for that, I'm afraid. All club and related web sites seem to be for people who like to drive over rocks and see how close to rollover they can come. This will be a daily driver, not a mud duck. Any sites or clubs that fit my kind of renovation/use? I have no trouble finding parts, have a good manual, but often run into questions I can't readily answer. Where are the just plain Bronco II organizations hiding?mediamat@ntelos.net

I've inherited a 1975 Ford F250 and would like to install a new seatbelt in the center so that my 2 sons can ride with me. I've found inexpensive replacement belts, but I'm not sure if there are seat belt anchors already installed in the center, or if I will have to have them done. Does anyone know either if they are there or how to find out?
The truck has been siting for a few years and currently not running. If I wasnt at work I would post a pic. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for beyond the obvious? (body/frame condition). I have been told to pay special attention to the front cab mounts. Where can I find a schematic of the body and frame? Any info from F100 experts would be greatly appreciated

Greetings....

I'm posting all over this board trying to drum up information on some cars that seem to have absolutely nothing written about them. I'm writing profiles of classic cars, and I'm having a lot of trouble with the following:

1930 Ford Roadster

1935 Ford Sedan

1935 Ford Tourer

1935 Ford C Coupe

1935 Ford Sedan

Yes...that's two 1935 Sedans...one appears to be a convertible and the other either a standard or deluxe. As for the Roadster, Tourer, and "C" Coupe (???), I'm clueless. I can't find a lick of information on these body types. All I have to go off of is the basic Model A information, but I need a couple of little car-specific tidbits for each one of these. If anyone could give me a hand or point me in the right direction, I'd be thrilled. This project is threatening to eat my soul...and I LIKE classic cars.

Thanks so much,

Hi, i recently buy this flathead engine in France (Le Mans town).

the two v8 cylinder heads are engrave EAC mercury usa with 24 studs (8 lower studs) .

so it's for me a Mercury 1951 - 1953, ......but:

the flathead date code is not describe like in the www.vanpeltsales.com pages :

- near the right cylinder head with the number 3 , letters B & E ...no line up and a 8 in a circle square.

- near the left cylinder head, the complete number: 68001PSCAL and a little far the number 7.. ?... in a circle square.

At the rear of the engine, near the bellhousing: B1891.

The carburator is a ZENITH 32 NDXIR like on the french army flathead, perhaps a repair change; what's the original carburator.

this engine was on a vintage coca-cola business car ..destroyed since!!

if somebody can help me to confirme the idenfification of this engine and what is exactly is the manufacturing date.

what clutch & transmission can i adapt on it.

thanks in advance for your answer.

Can't remember if I have asked you guys this question before or not. I have a 78 Mercury Marquis 2 door hardtop. I need a complete set of weatherstripping minus the windshield and rear window. The sets I have found are about $700 (these are not complete sets). Anyone have any idea how to do a good job of weatherstripping this Mercury at a reasonable cost? Have looked at universal weatherstripping and cannot make heads or tails of it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
