Hey friends, I have in my possesion an original 1967 Plymouth Roadrunner Logo Blue Print – Dated 12-4-1967

This is a Mylar print of the "Roadrunner Toon Logo" that I believe is to be put on the very first year Plymouth Roadrunner Automobile. At first I thought it may be a copy since it was made out of Mylar but I did some checking and I found that Mylar® polyester film was invented by Dupont in the early 1950s.

The drawing shows all details: where the logos are to be placed on the car, as well as the color scheme.

Any idea where I could take this to get it authenticated, appraised or something?

Thanks

Best Regards,

Well, this is my first post. So hello everyone.

First off, i'm 17 and i currently own a 2004 Ford Mustang V6.

I have been wanting to sell it and have been hoping to get $8,500 out of it at most.

Secondly, I have been offered a trade by someone who owns a 1970 Plymouth Duster 340. It wouldn't be something i would want to keep for a long time, depending on how much it would be worth. My dad's friend knows a lot about cars so I was going to get him to check it out before i went through with it to make sure everything's okay. I am wanting some advice on this as I don't know much about classic cars.

I have seen prices for these all over the place on equally nice looking Duster's. So im not really sure what to expect if I try to resell this.

About the car he has.

It is restored with a rebuilt 340 engine, less than 1,000 miles after rebuild.

I don't really know much about it other than that. Im just wanting some feedback from some people that actually know what they're talking about. Because I don't know what to think when it comes to classic cars.

Also, what problems should i be looking for or worried about. Or what other considerations should I have.

Thank you for any feedback.

Hello all, first off id like to introduce myself. My name is John, im 24 and a full time student. I just traded my VW Passat for a 1952 Plymouth Cranbrook with the flat 6 and 3 on the tree. My first question is about the clutch, Im new to the on the tree style, and in 1st gear I cannot get it to move without alot of vibration/clutch chatter. How hard are clutches to replace with these transaxles, and where is a good place to buy parts. Also, what is a good repair manual for this car? Thanks, John

I am restoring 1978 w200 with a 360. I just put a holley 600cfm double pumper with mechanical secondaries and manual choke. The problem I have right now is with the choke closed the engine will start but then proceed to rev higher and higer until I shut it off. With the choke open it will run the gas you pump into the carb and then die immediately after. The throttle isn't binding anywhere and I have backed the idle and fast idle way back but yet it either revs high or doesn't run. The truck has been sitting for 6 years and there is a little bit of gas left in the tank. I added some seafoam to the tank and put in 6 gallons of fresh gas. I have a 56 New Yorker with a steering gear/box problem. Had it rebuilt by Steer n Gear, but the car sat idle much of the time because of other restore work and leaks as it did before the rebuild. Is a Desoto or other car have a compatible unit? Is there a reasonable, cost effective conversion to avoid future problems with the old technolgy. If I have to rebuild the same unit, it's going back to Steer n Gear, they're pretty good, it's just my luck, I guess.

This is not my car and I'm just listing it for the elderly neighbors next to me. So if anyone is interested in the car just let me know. Make me your best offer for it and I'll ask if they want your number. Thank You. I don't think the appraisal guy was truthful with them. They said it doesn't run but looks like it's been garage kept most of it's life. Car inside and out looks immaculate if it was just washed. Has a tiny hole in the carpet roof but the carpet itself is pristine condition. They want to sell it on ebay but I figured I would try the classic forums. I'll try to talk them into washing it this weekend and I'll get better pictures of it out side. This car is sweet. Especially for the age. I don't know the mileage on it. I'll check tomorrow.

Hello everyone!

I am looking for a gas tank seal that mounts into the gas tank which you then slide the filler neck hose through, I am also looking for the filler neck hose that goes from the fuel filler spout and then takes a 90 degree turn and heads to the gas tank (sorry for the bad description, it goes from where you stick the gas nozzle in and takes a 90 degree angle and heads down towards the gas tank and is made out of rubber)

please let me know!
thanks

I have some oil leaks in my 1949 Chrysler Windsor with a Spitfire Inline six and was wondering if I do find that the leaks are coming from the mains do I have to drop the Crank in order to replace the mains, Or am I able to replace them without tearing everything apart? I have already dropped the oil pan but need to clean everything off so that I can see it and I know that it will take quite a bit of time before I can truly check the mains.

Is it possible to change the rear mounts without doing something drastic, like removing the transmission.

I took the bolts out and jacked up thre transmission, but there doesn't seem to be enough room to remove the big metal washer that has the spacer tube attached to it.

Is there something here I'm not seeing.

Also, the inspection cover for the fluid coupling and clutch. Are there more bolts than the 6 in the bottom of it to hold it on?

I took those out and it seems as tight as it was.

My clutch seems to be hanging and reluctant to engage. It does, but slowly
