Good Morning. A friend has a 1986 Jeep Cherokee for sale. Paint is bad, (metallic gold),but it's staight as an arrow. Interior is almost flawless, and it appears to have a rebuilt 2.8 V-6 in it. Auto transmission, Power steering and brakes, missing the radio, and needs some of the plastic replaced. It has 166,000 showing on the odometer, and I have been driving it for the past month. Top speed seems to be about 55mph, any faster and it seems like your forceing it. Offers around the $1000-1200 range, as he is moving out of the country in early September. Thanks Steve

i am wondering if there are parts kits available or interchangeable for this particular axle, maybe from a CJ5 or a chrysler of that era.
All parts are rebuilt, only reason I"m selling, cause the bell housing pattern is different then the car I planned on putting it in. I'm only selling it for $600 cause I don't have the receipt for the rebuild. But an inspection of the motor has verified that it's rebuilt. I live in Victoria BC Canada. I'm willing to ship anywhere at buyers expense. If you have any other questions feel free to email me at darrenreeso@shaw.ca.
I'm new to the whole antique car scene and just looking for some info. I'm inquiring and most likely buying a 1966 Rambler Rouge, 2dr Hardtop with 232 motor and automatic trans. It needs some minor interior work, front buckets cause use seatcovers, and it has a coupler small rust areas on the rear wheel wells but is in good condition mechanicly. The current owner seems to be an expert on Ramblers, seeing how he owns a total of 23 cars all Ramblers and Ambasadors, but I'd like to find some info on them somewhere else. Anyone have an idea where i can find some info cause I'm having some trouble with it or your input on this type of car would also be great.
