'33 HENRY FORD, MODEL 40 WAGON

RAREST OF THE RARE

1933 was a transitional year for the Ford line of automobiles. The country was recovering from the depression and the "winds of change" was in the air for the new Ford. The entire body lines of the '33 had changed from the traditional straight vertical lines of the '32 to a more swept back windshield and front door line of the '33. With these advanced body lines, the new Ford wagon appears to be moving at a fast pace, just standing still! The production for the '33, Model 40 station wagon, was a mere 1654 units. We understand there are only 15 or so still in existence today, making this year, a very rare vehicle. This wagon underwent a complete frame off restoration and then rested peacefully in the Towe Ford museum in Montana for approximately 20 years. The all maple wood body is mostly original with many coats of spar varnish applied by the famous restoration shop of Nick Alexander in Los Angeles, California. The body color is an amazing combination of Emperor Brown and Black. The three seat interior, also done by Nick Alexander's shop, is original style. The 75 horsepower engine and 3 speed transmission run smoothly and the woodie rolls merrily down the highway at a comfortable speed.

This 1933 Ford woodie wagon is truly fun to drive and draws attention as it parades along the byways with seating for eight adults.

See and drive this rare Model 40 wagon at our showroom in sunny Southern California.

Fairly priced for such a rare vehicle at $89,500.
