1971 Ford Torino Cobra

When you say Cobra, most minds go to that classic Roadster built for the track. Well there was another Ford Cobra out there that has the same tough look and the same amount of muscle. Being one of the more unique muscle cars the 1971 Ford Torino Cobra has that look you just cant beat. With the fastback style roof line and pointed nose this car looks awesome rolling down the road. It is the kind of classic where you just know there is some power under the hood. The car has been completely gone through being restored totally inside and out. The car is coated in a nice Grey with a Flat Black taillight panel, hood, and louvers. All of the Cobra emblems are in place with the Cobra snake gracing the rear fender. One of the coolest features on the exterior is the shaker hood which truly completes that Muscle car look. All of the glass is cleanly mounted and is clear with a slight tint. The chrome bumpers have a nice shine with no pitting or scratches. The car has dual headlights up front and louvered taillights in the rear which all work as they should. The undercarriage of the car was completely gone through with the rebuild and looks just as good as the top. The car has a very solid stance and rides on a nice set of nostalgic looking American racing daisy wheels with fresh tires.

Powering up this awesome classic is the 351 balanced and blueprinted V8 motor. Topped with the shaker scoop the engine was very well built and needs nothing. The block, manifold, heads, and valve covers are all coated Ford Blue with the compartment all painted black. Behind all that is the automatic transmission that shifts nice and smoothly. The car has disc brakes up front and all are power assisted. Other nice luxuries include the power steering system which works like new.

The interior of the car is done in a Black and Red combo that looks awesome. The bucket seats are very comfortable and sit to each side of the original console. This console houses the T-handle shifter and extra storage. The dash of the car is done in the all original style and even has the all original A/C vents. All of the gauges/knobs/switches are in place and work just as they should. The trunk of the car is just as nicely finished out and houses the spare wheel.

This is one unique muscle car that will turn heads wherever you take it. Get it while you still can!
