Here is a lovely and rare 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible with 221cid V8 and presented in a gorgeous Dark Sheridan Gray with a Red leather original interior, this car had a complete frame off restoration in the early 90's and cared for in top condition ever since, final work just completed Fall 2011, this is the back up for CIDER HOUSE RULES, a wonderful movie from 2000 with Academy Award nominations, this was used for photo shoots for the movie for two days as this fine quality vehicle was better than the car mostly used in the movie, the design of the 1941 Ford was a change from the famous '40 in that these '41s were considered to be the \"biggest, flashiest, and heaviest\"Fords yet built, with the evolutionary styling that evolved from head designer Bob Gregorie, this featured a heavier, stronger frame of some 100 lbs, the body was wider, had more integrated front fenders, a beautiful vertical bar chrome grill with two chrome low sub grills, larger rear fenders, many consider this a real beauty,

History: VIN#186263687 has possibly original 86k miles according to the tile and information that we have received and the last owner, it is thought that this might have about 16,000 meticulous miles since frame-off and engine redo, costing on the work was some $46,000, then redone in Atlanta in the early 2000 period kept by a fastidious collector, sold to another collector who kept working on it, then Fraser Dante completed its work for Fall 2011 to make sure this 1941 Ford Convertible is in top mechanical condition, very seldom does one find such a car, tires are good Firestone 6.00x16 wide whitewalls, the full chrome wheel covers are an option that have the same standards as the rest of the fine chrome and trim on this car, all the chrome trim is excellent with correct black inserts, the front bumper is beautiful with overrider, front and rear have bumper guards, dual chrome mirrors, fully redone dash is stock with fake wood trim, all the correct gauges in the beige pod work, ammeter, fuel, temperature, the radio is period correct and works, the steering wheel is magnificent and fully restored in cream with the chrome horn ring, the top is a brand new correct beige cloth, its frame is fully redone with painted beige steel and wood cross bar, the trunk is redone with proper spare and floor mat, a full restoration, driven to shows and cared for by a fussy collector with careful attention to preservation, finally in August 2011, Fraser Dante went through the car again for one to drive and show Fall 2011, $47,950
