1947 Ford Super Deluxe 8 Sedan

This classic is a true survivor! If your into original nostalgic classics then you won't find much better than this. There are certain cars you want to make flashy and restore but this one is perfect the way it is. It has that look of age that gives it 10X more character than you could create on your own. The 1947 Ford Super Deluxe 4 door sedan body is very straight and very solid. It is all steel and rust free. The Green paint is laid down nicely with no significant scratches, chips, dings, or dents. The car has a lot of nice stainless which is cleanly mounted in place. The bumpers are nicely chromed and despite some mild age are still in great condition. The straight across parallel grill is iconic to the 40's Fords and looks great. It rides on a set of original style Green wheels with polished hubcaps and beauty rings. The glass is all very clear and free of any cracks or damage. The car has been entirely gone through to insure that not only is it in good running condition but that it is original. Any components that were replaced were original and done to be what you should find on a 47 Ford. There was no quick stop at autozone to find a new air cleaner!

Powering up the car is a smooth running flathead V8 that is all original. It has been left looking nostalgic and even has original "Ford" hoses. Various components have just been replaced including the electric fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and battery. Backing up the motor is a 3 speed manual transmission that shifts nice and smoothly. The clutch works very well with no problems. All of the electrical components are working properly and is cleanly routed. The brakes have recently been entirely rebuilt so that costly repair is no worry.

The interior is just as original as the rest. It has two cloth bench seats which are very comfortable and fit nicely in place. The dash is done in a two tone Gray and Beige. All of the original gauges are in place and working well. All of the knobs are a matching Beige and are original. The "three on the tree" shifter is very fun to use and looks great through the original steering wheel.

This is one cool classic that needs nothing! Throw some gas in it and you are on your way!
