This car has a 383 Chevy stroker motor with a 671 BDS (Blower Drive Service) supercharger new MSD HEI ignition, new Holley 170 gpm mechanical fuel pump with regulator and two new 780 Holley carburetors. The motor produces about 540 HP at the flywheel. The transmission is a Chevy 700R4 that gives this car a nice road gear for cruising. The independent Jaguar rear end has 3.75 gears turning Mickey Thompson 31 x 16.5 Sportsman Radial tires with Budnik 20"x 15"wide custom wheels. The cooling system is a new Walker Z core radiator with a Cooling Components 1750 electric fan controlled by a Dakota Digital controller. The motor runs cool even on the hottest Southern California days. The electrical system was completely replaced two years ago with a Ron Francis Express wiring system, new battery and rebuilt alternator. Electrical system also includes a remote controlled battery cutoff switch to turn off the entire electrical system when the car is unattended. The body is fiberglass but the manufacturer is unknown. The paint is a stunning red color, The interior has a gray cloth bench seat with gray carpeting. The dash has new Vintage series Classic gauges and custom dash lights that use fiber optic cables mounted in acrylic between the dash and steering column drop. The interior also includes a custom Budnik tilt steering wheel that matches the over the top wheels, Bear Claw door latches, seat belts, a CD radio with two speakers and a new Lokar shifter. The windshield is custom fabricated with the upper frame taken out to give a more open feel to the car. The trunk opens rumble seat style but has no rumble seat installed. The gas tank holds 25 gallons. The trunk lid has a custom built power latch that pulls the trunk lid down the last few inches similar to a Cadillac or Lincoln Continental trunk latch.
