1933 Ford Custom Roadster "Wildfire"
This one is very hot!!
If you know Street Rods then there is a good chance you have heard the Bobby Alloway name. Well this classic originally belonged to Mr. Alloway as one of his personal show pieces. At the time it was a coupe and was the Goodguys Street Rod of the year. The car was later professionally customized to be a topless roadster by the talented craftsman at Rutterz Rodz in Tennessee. It has an amazing look that you just can't match. The rake on this car is extreme giving it one of the coolest profile looks you will ever see. It is coated in a slick layer of Black and topped with those "Wildfire" flames. The flames were laid down by Wade Hughes. The flames are even found accenting the headlights and steering column. The deck lid has been custom covered with louvers which are a special touch you don't always see. The attention to details on this Street Rod is what really separates it from the others. These features are seen all over this car and the more you look the more you see. Even the underside of the hood has been polished and accented with those flames! The car rolls around on a beautifully polished set of Halibrand wheels wrapped with some fresh tires.
This isn't your everyday street rod. From front to rear it is packed with the best of the best. Every piece of the drive train is worthy of being listed, but we will just give the basics. The 454 Big Block V8 is equipped with Aluminum heads and is covered in billet and chrome. And it has a serious sounds and truly roars down the road. It has ceramic coated headers (making cleaning a breeze), a Lokar transmission dipstick, polished water pump, polished overflow tank, and much more. The beautiful polished exhaust sounds great and dumps out over the polished Winters quick change rear end. All of this along with the QA1 coilovers and large finned polished rear brakes make for a beautiful looking rear end. The front end is just as beautiful with disc brakes that are housed in vented large finned drums giving it a custom old school look.
After checking out this Street Rod you should have no questions as to why it got its name!
From underneath the hood to the door jams, this custom is on fire.
Not to short change the passenger compartment, Paul Atkins stitched the interior of this amazing custom in all black leather. The white faced gauges set into a very cool bezel look perfect against the slick black dash. The billet steering wheel sits on the custom flamed and molded steering column.
It has an unbelievable stance and look. And it is not just for show. This car is street legal and is built to be driven.
This is a must see custom that you have to see to believe!
A one of a kind custom at a price less than half of its cost to build
