1933 Ford Roadster

In the Street Rod market it is getting harder and harder to find something unique. They are certainly out there but you have to skim through 10 of the same old 32 Fords to find one. Well you have ran across a 1933 Ford Roadster that is extremely unique and has a very cool look. The Wescott body is extremely straight and coated in a very slick house of color Candy Cobalt Blue over a Silver base. Special cowl reinforcements are in place for the fully chromed Duvall windshield. This style of windshield is very sought after for these cars and creates a very streamline look. It has a Rootlieb steel hood with tall side louvers that gradual increase in size. A Valley aluminum grill is nicely polished and looks great next to that deep Blue. Another thing that looks good with the Blue is a Sid Chavers black hartz cloth top that has actually been signed by the man himself. To each side of the grill is the fully chromed Bob Drake 1933 commercial headlights. In the rear you will find very cool bullet dual taillights that have been frenched into the custom sloped lower section. Chrome California swan neck mirrors are in place on both the drivers and passengers side. The body sits on a TCI chassis that has all been nicely painted to match and is in great condition. American Racing Torque Thrust chrome wheels are mounted in place with fresh BF Goodrich tires (155/80R15-front, 235/70R15-rear. ) A cool feature about the wheels are the louisville hollow point center caps which create a little different look than what you usually see with Torque Thrust wheels.

The drivetrain of the car is just as beautifully done as the rest with all painted, chromed, or polished parts. This continues into the undercarriage where the paint is just as slick as the body. All of the chrome work is done by Sanchez Polishing out of Escondido, CA. The 4 bolt main 350 V8 motor runs extremely well and was all professionally built. It utilizes all of the best components with a painted to match Edelbrock intake manifold and nicely adjusted Demon 625 carburetor. Other performance components include 194 heads with 202 and 164 stainless valves and a summit racing 1108 high performance cam. A moon and speedway polished dress up kit makes for a very clean look and is nicely mounted in place. It has all Ron Francis wiring with all A/N stainless plumbing. The car is constantly kept nice and cool by the spal electric fan and Griffin radiator. The car has an awesome sound through the custom built headers and side pipes. The side pipes are routed to perfectly follow the body lines of the car which is a very cool feature. The Turbo 350 transmission shifts nicely and utilizes a 2200 B&M converter. Up front is the Magnum 5 inch dropped axle that is fully chromed with disc brakes and chrome mono leaf springs. It is fully exposed so you know it has to be looking awesome. In the rear is a painted to match Ford 8 inch with 3.55 gears and Currie axles.

The interior is all done by Ron Magnus at California Custom Auto Interior. It is completed in a light Grey leather with matching carpet. The split bench seat is very comfortable and has nice matching seat belts. The dash has been painted to match the car and is topped with all white faced Autometer gauges. The large speedometer has been custom formed into the dash to slightly face the driver. On the passengers side is custom pinstriping to match the striping on the body. The polished Ididit steering column is topped with a Billet specialties steering wheel which utilizes a Flaming River steering box.

The trunk of the car is done just as nicely as the rest of the car being cleanly finished off in Grey leather. The lid is opened electrically via a switch in the interior. You won't find another car like this out there so get it now!
