In a world full of 1932 Hi Boys, you will be a hit when you drive up in this great looking 1932 Lo-Boy. The car was professionally built by Terry Haun in New Mexico to be his personal car. Its Speedway fiberglass body is very straight with absolutely no blemishes. It is covered in a deep red paint that shines great. The chassis, rear end, front axle and headlight supports have all been painted to match the body. It has a perfect stance with its red steel wheels with polished beauty rims, chrome lug nuts and chrome center caps. The wheels are dress in new wide whitewall tires that look to be made for this car. The front suspension and linkage are all done in chrome. It has drum brakes on all wheels and the front ones are equipped with Buick finned drums with air scoops.
The interior is done in tan leather with high grade tan carpeting. It has a complete set of black face Autometer gauges in a nice gauge cluster. All the gauges work and are accurate. A couple of high lights of the interior is the great looking 61 Oldsmobile steering wheel on a chrome column and the custom floor shifter with the V8 symbol engraved on its top. Your will find the battery and a 14 gallon custom fuel cell in the trunk. The trunk is finished in custom bent stainless steel.
But the real eye grabber of this car is the freshly rebuilt massive 1953 Chrysler 331 cubic inch Hemi toped with 2 4 barrel carburetors. The engine is dressed with polished valve covers, polished oil breathers, an updated big block Chevy polished water pump, chrome air cleaners and chrome alternator. It also has a Vertex magneto and ceramic coated rams horn exhaust manifolds. The engine always runs cool. It is is connected to a Crisman Conversion Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a Ford 9 inch rear end fitted with 3:50 gears.
This sweet ride was a Good Guys Award winner at the 2006 Lone Star Nationals. Weighing in at only 2,000 pound with the power produce by the Hemi motor and this car really does go "Lickety Split" just like it says on its deck lid.
