1932 Ford Roadster
Some say there are no guarantees in life. Well if you put only the best components in a classic then odds are it is going to run right. This cool 1932 Ford Custom Roadster was constructed with all quality parts by quality builders. It was meticulously built and continues to be well maintained. The Gibbons body is straight and coated in a a very nice Orange that is sure to grab some attention. The body is mounted to a very nice frame that has been painted to match. The Rootlieb hood looks great on the car with large louvers on the sides and a nice polished piece of trim down the center. The So Cal window is nicely tinted and accented by a fully chrome frame. Large chrome headlights from Bob Drake are mounted up front and work with no issues. The front angled spreader bar is nicely chromed and has inlayed turn signals. The car has a large painted to match fuel tank nicely mounted by the rear chrome bar. A chrome side mirror has only been put in place on the drivers side to maintain a nice clean look. The exterior of the car has all been shaved with the trunk release behind the seat. The car has a nice solid stance and rides on a set of vintage style steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and chrome beauty rings. This gives it a bit of that nostalgic style that looks great on these 32s.
A touch of old school is also found under the hood with the 3 deuce carburetors. The 350 V8 is topped with fully powder coated Rochester 3 deuce carbs with a progressive linkage. Not only do these look cool but they perform very well. These are then topped with vintage finned air cleaners that match the chrome Edelbrock finned valve covers. The manifold is all fully polished as is most components on the motor. The engine originally came out of a 76-77 Corvette that had been all restored. The car has a great sound through all stainless steel exhaust that feeds out the rear. The power then runs through the 350 Turbo transmission finally meeting up with the rear wheels through a Ford 8" with 3:73 gears. Stopped is no issue with disc brakes are found up front with drums in rear. There were certainly no corners cut in its build and it performs with no problems.
Moving onto the interior you will find it continues to be just as well done. The Wise Guys bench seat is very comfortable and covered in all beige leather. It has seatbelts as well as a nicely inset arm rest. The carpeting is all very nicely done and in great condition. Taking a look at the dash you may think some things are missing. Well all of the knobs and switches are custom mounted below the dash to keep them hidden out of view. The dash has been painted to match the car and is topped with black faced gauges. The flaming river polished tilt column is topped with a beautiful Banjo steering wheel that works with this car perfectly.
Being a roadster it is important to have a good top. You may not always have it on the car but it better look good, fit tight, and be easy to remove. Well the beige Sid Chaver Bop Top is the best out there and can easily be taken off by 1 person. The trunk is nicely finished out as well and adds a little extra storage room.
This car won't be around for long at only $39,500.00!
