When it comes to vintage street rods its not often you see a well done truck. You may see some custom F series and 50's truck but how many time do you remember looking behind that 29 Ford front end to see a truck bed? Well here is your chance to check one out. This cool 1929 Ford Pickup is in extremely nice condition and was very well done. It is titled as a 1929 Roadster Pickup and was finished in 2006. Since being rebuilt it has racked up very few miles. It has a totally custom look. While the body, fenders, doors, and bed are all original Henry Ford Steel and laser straight. It is all coated in a nice Lexus Pearl White paint that really pops out in the sun. This is then accented with extremely nicely done custom pin striping. The Model A Roadster body sits on a TCI chassis that is also nicely painted. The underside of this car is in beautiful condition and very clean. It utilizes all the best of the best components like the polished 4 bar rear suspension, polished adjustable coilovers in both the front & the rear, rack and pinion steering, fully polished Mustang II front suspension with polished tubular A arms and a nicely painted 9" Ford rear end. Everything under the car is nicely painted in a dark Blue. The front and rear bumpers are no longer in place but there is still just the right amount of chrome. The door handles, side mirrors, headlights, headlight bar, radiator shell, grill, and more are all beautifully chromed with a great finish. Another cool feature on this classic is the fact that you can transform it in just a few seconds into 3 very different looking rides. The canvas top is nicely done in Black canvas with wood and chrome structure. It raises and lowers with ease. The truck bed has custom wood side rails that are easy to remove and put in place. The bed is very nicely done on the truck and it even houses a very cool custom wood chest to incase the fuel cell. The car rolls around on polished Billet Specialties wheels and has the perfect stance.
Since the truck is ran without the side panels that engine better be looking good. Well no worries there because this Ford Racing 302 V8 is finished of very nicely. What a concept. There's a Ford motor in a Ford Streetrod. The engine is topped with lots of chrome and has great looking Ford Racing valve covers. The block, heads, pulleys, and more are all coated in Blue and look great next to all that shine. It has a mild cam which helps give it a little more horsepower and a great sound out of the headers with Flowmaster mufflers. This is all then paired with the C4 automatic transmission that shifts like new. Just think, a drive train built for the later produced Mustangs has now been utilized in a old Model A.
The interior on the car is finished out in a custom two tone Grey and White leather that is very tastefully done. The bench seat is nice and comfortable while fitting nicely in place. The dash has been kept nice and clean being only covered by the ignition, a white faced speedometer with matching quad gauge and the LED signal indicators. The polished tilt steering column looks great in place and is topped by the mahogany wood Banjo steering wheel.
