1930 Ford Steel Model A, Black, for sale in Newnan, Georgia, for $22,000.This steel body coupe is a true Saturday Night Special hot rod. The car went through several changes early on but the last major changes were done between 1981 and 1988. The body is original except for the rear fenders which are fiberglass. I have the original fenders but the previous owner cut them off even with the bottom of the body. The front end has a 4 inch drop axle and disc brakes. Power comes from a Chevy 302 with lots of goodies. MSD electronic ignition with a rev limiter, Crane solid lifter cam with Crane roller rockers and stabilizer bar, Crane large diameter valve springs and retainers, duel Holley 390 cfm carbs, and Manley 2.055 intake valves to name a few. The transmission is a Fairbanks turbo clutch 400. It's a turbo 400 that doesn't have a torque converter. Instead the transmission bolts to a standard clutch bell housing. The only time you have to use the clutch is when the car is stopped. It is equipped with a reverse pattern, manual shift valve body. The rear end is a narrowed Chevy 12 Bolt equipped with Mark Williams hi-torque axles. This is a brief description of this well taken care of classic car. I have had my time with it, now it is time to find a new family to take care of it.
