Ford Falcon, for sale in St. Louis, Missouri, for $119,900.
This 1963 Ford Falcon is an extreme custom build that was constructed for the 2010 SEMA show and was featured in the 2011 DuPont calendar. The car features numerous body mods, and a wild custom built chassis that has over 500 hours invested in it alone.
The chassis is a full round tube tri rail build that is a work of art to say the least. It is completely smoothed out and has been channeled under the uni-body of the Falcon. The car has a full subfloor with small rectangular tubing, and for extra rigidity it is sandwiched between an 18 gauge sheet metal top and bottom. The car has partial roll pans in the front and rear, and the front clip is molded onto the body. The engine compartment features custom fender wells, a custom smoothed firewall, and a custom core support close out. The body is finished in DuPont Hot Hues Amber Ectasy with satin charcoal hood, roof, and trunk. The entire undercarriage of the car has been smoothed and is quite the sight to see.
Power comes from a brand new 4.6 liter Ford Racing crate engine that is equipped with a ProCharger. The motor makes 550 HP at the wheels on the Dyno and is shifted by a Bowler electronic overdrive, computer shifted transmission. The rear end is a very trick looking Winters Quick Change set up for a bit of that Old School flavor. The exhaust system is a full mandrel bent custom job with FlowMaster mufflers.
The car has Air Ride in the front, Bilstein coils in the rear and a 6-Piston Wilwood set up on all four corners. The wheels are BonSpeed brushed aluminum custom wheels that measure 18" in the front and 20" in the rear. They are clothed in BFG KDW tires that are extra grippy to say the least.
The interior is all custom fabricated and features a custom dash, rear seat delete custom fabricated metal "headliner, " custom metal door panels, and custom metal center console. Autometer gauges adorn the dash and the rear is filled with a custom stereo set up with 12" subs, component speakers, and two huge amps.
The level of detail is incredible and of course could never be reproduced for the selling price. As always, it's better to buy them finished than to get upside-down in a build!
