This is a custom mid 1990's built Street Rod that has been well kept, shown and driven since completion. While it may not be a fresh build, it is still a very popular car at any parking lot, cruise-in, or local show. The questions never end! Powered by a 383 stroker with Tuned-Port Injection by "Street and Performance", this car is both powerful and reliable. Bolted to the engine, you'll find a very unique set-up... Twin TH-400 automatic transmissions. A very rare combination used by the old school drag racing crowd. The car is a 3 speed automatic when put into drive, or if desired, it could be manually shifted and used as a 5 speed! WOW, talk about a conversation piece! Out back there is a bullet proof Ford 9" posi rear end. The car rides on Weld Racing Wheels with "Bigs and Little" and brother, the big's are BIG. 15" wide Mickey Thompson's. Excellent old school Street Rod look. This car is meant to be driven - either down the track or around town. So, it is fittingly equipped with power rack and pinion steering, tilt steering column and 4 wheel disc brakes. More options you say? Ok... how about Magnaflow exhaust, power antenna and power trunk release. There is also a battery cut off switch under the running board for security. In the trunk are more goodies... a nice large fuel cell with high volume fuel pump, a bleach reservoir for squirting the rear tires before a big smokey burnout and the battery box. The car is painted Fire Engine Red, so if attention isn't your thing, you should start getting acquainted with the idea if you want to own this car! Looks great and was obviously a high quality paint job when the car was finished. It shows very few minor flaws from use. Inside is a very custom interior. Custom gauges, custom upholstery with real leather and cloth, AM/FM stereo, twin B&M shifters... the list goes on. If a real STEEL Street Rod is on your must have list, here is one that is turn-key, looks great and is very reliable and fun to drive.
