1934 Ford Coupe Custom

When it comes to Street Rods more and more companies are producing bodies that add to the sleek look of the 32s and 34s. Some of these companies you may know as Speedstar, Zipper, and Wildrod. Well cool 1934 Ford Coupe is the look they are all going for. The nice rake, sloping grill, and smooth appearance was around long before these bodies because this cool custom was original designed and built back in the 1980s. It was updated back in the late 1990s and then redone again in 2004. This car runs extremely well and was built to be driven and enjoyed. It is coated in a Ferrari 308GT Red that looks beautiful on this car. The body has been customized and has an awesome look running down the road. The body has been smoothed, chopped, channeled, and sectioned. It has been lengthened 4" up front and pinched 2". It rides on a Frank Schonig sprint car designed chassis that has been very well built. The Just-A-Hobby frame works well under the car and has all been painted to matched. The custom steel hood and custom steel side panels mate up perfectly to the glass polyfoam body with nice even gaps. The grill is blacked out and looks great on the car. It was custom built by the Joe Wilhelm V8 shop. The tail lights are inset in the rear and work perfectly along with the large chrome headlights. The car sits on a set of polished out American Racing wheels with 20" in rear and 17" up front.

The 350 V8 motor runs with no issues and was extremely well built. It is fitted with Dart Performance aluminum heads topped with Dart valve covers. There are various billet components including the air cleaner, alternator, cool flex hoses, and more. The car has a great sound through Sanderson headers and performance mufflers. The car always runs nice and cool with a Walker radiator, oil cooler, and transmission cooler. The car is backed by a Coan 350 transmission with a Gear Vendors overdrive system. This all leads into the Ford 8" positrac rear end with 3:73 gears. The suspension is also well done made up of full torsion bars and Alden adjustable shocks. With the front end exposed on a car like this it better be looking nice. Well a fully polished Super Bell front end is in place that has a nice shine.

The interior car is all completed in Black leather and is all custom. The highback bucket seats fit nicely in the car and are very comfortable. The Lokar shifter is mounted to the floor and topped with a custom Piston shifter knob. In front of the shifter is where you will find the ignition set up. The dash is also nicely finished out and is topped with Black faced VDO gauges. These gauges are also found custom inset into an overhead section. In the glove compartment section is the AM/FM/CD player that delivers a great sound. The polished tilt column looks great in place and is topped with a polished billet steering wheel. The trunk is also nicely finished out and is where you will find the gas filler cap.

This is a very cool car that always draws a crowd at shows. There is something unique about its appearance that really sets it apart.
