1932 Ford Coupe - Hemi Powered
You have ran across one of the coolest old 32's out there. This classic is the perfect combo of old school style with all the newest, best components. Plus it is powered by a hemi motor to complete that vintage look. The 5-window Be-Bop body has a 4" chop is coated in beautiful black paint. The body sits on a Stage 3 chassis and has a Pete & Jakes dropped ft. axle with a chrome Ford 9" in the back. The chrome Currie 9" rear end is fitted with 3.50 gears and coilovers which are all top of the line. The car has been kept clean of all pinstriping or graphics to allow the new owner to put their own touch on the car. Even if you decide to keep it slick Black there are no worries because it looks perfect that way. All of the stainless window trim has a great shine and is nicely mounted. Billet mirrors are in place on both sides and are fully adjustable. So Cal Commercial big chrome headlights are up front and Zephyr LED tail-lights in the rear. A moon tank sits out front and has been custom set up to function as the radiator overflow tank. All of the exterior electrical is working as it should with no problem. Custom fitted to the rear deck is a large polished Cobra racing style gas fill cap from the Mr. Roadster Shop. The car has a great stance and rides on 16" Red steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and Ford script hubcaps. It has Nostalgic Firestone slicks on the rear and matching whitewalls up ft.
Powering up this classic is an old school Desoto Hemi (Firedome 330) which has plenty of power and looks amazing. It has been bored 30 over with a new valve train. Backing this up is the Torqueflight 727 trans w/Lokar shifter. The performance aspect of the car was certainly not ignored as you can see. With "old school" being the theme, the car just wouldn't be right without a 4 deuces carburetor set up using Super 97’s. Plus the super style Hot Heads topped with polished valve covers. The car has a great rumble through the HPC coated Sanderson Lime-Fire headers into Flowmaster exhaust system.
The interior is finished out in black and red ultra leather combo with a bench seat. This continues onto the dash which is painted black with a custom red ultra leather dash pad. The Moon Eye gauges work with no problems and are mounted in a Champion classic style bezel. The custom aluminum contoured lower dash panel provides mounting for Hot Rod Air A/C ducts and controls, ignition switch, hi-beam switch, interior lights, power window switches and electric door & trunk openers. The car is also fitted with a Lime-Works Speed Shop polished steering column and nostalgic billet aluminum green lighted turn signal switch. This is all then finished off with the stainless steel Banjo steering wheel.
The trunk is power opened and the inside is finished out just as nicely as the rest of the car. The deck lid utilizes billet hinges and opens with no problem. This is one awesome classic that turns heads in every crowd!
