Ford Country Squire woodie, Silver, for sale in Laguna Niguel, California, price on application.
Woodies USA is privileged to present, "THE GREY GHOST", a 1951 Ford Country Squire station wagon, with 97,000 original miles, that has survived, in its factory original condition, for the past 61 years! The woodie is a rust free, ONE OWNER, California black plate automobile.
The wagon was assembled in the Richmond, California Ford assembly plant and spent most of its life in central California with the exception of many years on display in the prestigious Towe Ford museum in Montana. The exterior paint color is very rare, Silvertone Grey, applied 61 years ago by the Ford factory and shines nicely and shows remarkably well for its age. The exterior maple wood is near perfect with many, many coats of UV protected, marine spar varnish, recently applied by the famous woodworker, Ron Heiden of Encinitas, California. This Country Squire wagon is a rare, radio delete model.
The "GREY GHOST'S" attributes include: A fresh, completely rebuilt, 239 cubic inch, flathead engine, with virtually no miles logged. A resealed, 3 speed manual transmission and a completely rebuilt fuel delivery system. Also, heater, clock, and spare tire cover.
New components include: Clutch, brakes, starter, generator and wide white wall, bias ply tires. The wagon also sports a new, factory correct, electrical wiring system for lasting reliability and starting ease.
Fairly priced at $79,900.00.
