The Facel-Vega company took its styling and performance from the old French roots of the likes of Talbot-Lago, Delage, and Delahaye. The Facell II was the ultimate design built by Jean Daninos, and he even claimed it to be the best car that they even produced. With only 182 of these rare GT cars built, the client list included some of the world's most recognizable names in royalty, the arts, Hollywood, music, and business.
The performance of the car is a combination the Chrysler 383 cu. in. engine producing 355 BHP, the TorqueFlight 3 - Speed Automatic transmission and Dunlop 4-wheel disc brakes. The car can reach speeds of 130 MPH.
Having received a recent award winning restoration, it was shown at the Meadow Brook Concourse where it took home "Best in class". These limited production cars are a rare and valuable piece of French automobile history.
