Auctions America by RM will celebrate its second annual Spring Carlisle auction, with variety of collector cars and trucks on offer during the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet & Corral, in Pennsylvania. More than 300 American muscle cars, classics and hot rods will cross the block at the Carlisle Expo Center, located adjacent to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds.
A highlight this year is the James E. Craft Collection, featuring 15 luxury and sports cars representing the 1940s through the 80s. One such vehicle is a Snowshoe White 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible (est. $18,000 - $22,000) powered by a 292-cid, 190-hp V-8 engine. Other cars from this collection range from a 1957 Nash Metropolitan coupe (est. $4,000 - $6,000) to a 1965 Ford Mustang GT convertible (est. $35,000 - $42,500).
Auction action isn’t the only activity. Carlisle Events will also offer a collector car swap meet and car corral at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. With more than 8,100 vendor spaces, the event is the largest car corral and swap meet in the world. Vendors from across the country meet during the five-day celebration to purchase car parts that are perfect for a restoration or do-it-yourself automotive project.
Tickets to the event are available for $10.
