Restored: 1991

Engine and transmission rebuilt as well as brakes and exhaust. Interior has been repainted, but exterior needs some body work done (a few dings, a little rust at wheel wells) and a paint job.

Exterior. .
Paint needed and some body work. She has a steel bed over original wooden floor and bracing. Has factory running lights on cab, duel exhaust, all exterior lights and bumpers are original. New side mirrors. has some rust around LF fender and outside of bed around trim and bottom of door - starting to flake a bit . Has original wood bed under metal bed. A few original slats remain.

Interior. .
gray indoor/outdoor carpet, dashboard and panels all metal, Orginal full size seat in very good condition, all door handles orginal, Chevy factory air conditioner came with this truck in 63, large front and rear glass. No carpet, dashboard and panels all metal, Original full size seat in very good condition, all door handles original, "Three on the Tree"shifter.

Mechanical. .
Truck has the original engine (283) and original 3-speed transmission on the steering wheel (three on the tree). Drive shaft, universals, and suspension are great. Original springs in rear. Sheets of 4x8 fit easily in the long bed

My Dad bought this pickup when I was a kid at 13 (I am 56 now) and it is a great truck for working or for someone who wants to restore. This truck runs great, uses a little oil, but have not had any major problems with it because I taken care of it. I would like to keep it and restore it myself but I cannot afford it. I hate to see it go to waste. So I keep it tagged and keep driving it. Would like to sell it to someone who appreciates Classic Cars and Pickups.
