Chevrolet Nova, Black, for sale in Charlotte, North Carolina, for $26,995.

Usually known as grandma's grocery getter or as a muscle car sleeper, this 2 owner 1971 Chevrolet Nova is definitely not your grandma's car nor the local sleeper picking on the ever popular muscle cars. This absolutely menacing and impeccably professional built Nova is not only show worthy from bumper to bumper, or track ready, this bad boy is a street car that will make you the envy of all on-lookers and the fastest thing on the streets when you get behind the wheel and take this beauty out for a spin.

Born with a modest 307CI V8 engine under its hood, this stunning '71 Nova now boasts a professionally built 355ci small block V8 that produces around 500hp and that's without any nitrous or power adder, ever. Only the best parts were used in the build-up of this powerful beast including Brodix aluminum TRK1 heads, a Lunati solid cam, a Quick Fuel 750cfm carb which sits atop a custom painted aluminum Edlebrock Super Victor Jr intake with polished runners. Stepped headers are mounted to a trick, custom made 3\"aluminized exhaust an x-pipe crossover, cut-outs and new Flowmaster Super 40 mufflers that have been ceramic coated along with the exhaust tips that have a truly one-of-a-king center mount exit. The mufflers sit where the original gas tank sat but with the aluminum fuel cell mounted in the trunk, along with an aluminum battery box which houses an Optima battery, the custom center mount exhaust exit was able to be achieved. An extremely strong 2spd Powerglide transmission with a 2.11:1 gear ratio, a 4500 converter and a very well built GM 12 bolt rear end that houses 4.56 gears and an Eaton Posi, this bad boy can scream down an 1/8th mile in just 6.73 seconds at 99mph with just a 1.45sec 60ft time. Remember, that's without any nitrous or power adder that has NEVER touched this engine. A custom made PRC aluminum radiator and a trans cooler keeps it running cool, as in 180 degrees on the streets while the low, reverse mounted chrome alternator keeps the power strong. Chromed out Moroso aluminum fabricated valve covers, a polished Moroso aluminum electric water pump and the heavy-duty Holley fuel pump and electric cooling fans all have switches mounted to the Turbo Action Cheetah Pro shifter. 30 spline Strange axles and ladder bars keep the Goodyear DOT drag radials planted to the tarmac.

The perfectly achieved and ultra-mean stance is helped by the front and rear QA1 coilover shocks and struts. Polished to perfection, Weld Prostars gleam against the all-steel body that is dressed in flawless black urethane paint that has been rubbed out and buffed to perfection. The look is as if it just rolled out of the paint booth last week yet it was actually painted over 12 years ago but with it being always garaged for the last 27 years, and NEVER a spec of rust, this painstakingly professionally restored Nova is as clean underneath and throughout as the flawless exterior. The custom ram-air box with its 4\"hoses push all the needed air into the motor for those ultra quick runs down the track or for when your challenged on the streets from red light to red light. The front drilled and slotted rotors and Wilwood disc brake calipers ensure bringing this 3300lb head-turner to a confident stop.

Owned now for the past 27 years by only it's 2nd owner, in which happens to be a professional auto restorer that only puts out nationally show winning cars, this '71 Nova is near perfect no matter where you look. Perfect chrome, highly polished aluminum, a laser straight body, perfect body lines and gaps, it's truly a show piece throughout. Front bucket seats with 5pt harnesses, a leather wrapped aluminum Grant steering wheel, a monster Sport-Comp tach with shift light, all the vital sign gauges and a 6pt roll bar keeps you informed, confident and secure. Custom touches like the angle-eye diamond headlights, shaved side markers, smoothed and filled cowl and one-of-a-kind recessed push-button door handles, unique is almost an under-statement for this asphalt pounding street machine.

Included with the car in the sale is a perfect flat hood already painted to perfection, a total of 8 new tires including Mickey Thompson slicks already mounted to extra Weld Prostars and a set of Goodyear front runner tires for the track. A 30 spline Spool is also included. So whether your tearing up your local streets, cruising to a show or blasting down the drag strip, when you get behind the wheel, strap in and turn the ignition, you'll hear the wickedest sounding ride ever. Stomp on the gas and hold on for a ride of your life. So do not let this ultimate street car get away, give us a call or hurry on into Streetside Classics and once you've graced your eyes upon this black beauty, the next place it'll call home will be back in your garage.
