1966 Chevrolet Nova SS
Camaros and Mustangs are all cool muscle cars but the Nova has continued to be a favorite of those with the need for speed. The lightweight, trim free body paired with a beefy V8 is what "muscle car" is all about. This classic 1966 Chevrolet Nova is a true Super Sport making it much more desirable. This is the type of car you can drive and enjoy while it only goes up in value. The car is nice and straight with everything fitting tightly. The doors shut solidly with all good gaps throughout. There were definitely no corners cut in its build. It is coated in a Tropic Artesian Turquoise that really pops in the sun. It has a beautiful finish that almost changes color depending on how the light hits it. The front and rear bumpers are nicely chromed as is the front grill. The headlights and taillights are cleanly mounted in stainless bezels and all work like new. The car has the correct style fender trim which has a great shine. All of the glass is in good condition with a slight tint. Each piece is framed in nicely mounted trim that has been polished out. A chrome side mirror is only on the drivers side with the antenna balancing it out on the other. It has all the correct SS badging which is in good condition. Spend any amount of time looking this car over and you will realize how nice it really is. It has a great stance and sits on 15" Rally wheels with beauty rings and BF Goodrich Silvertown Radial red line tires (205/65-15. )
The drive train continues to be just as nicely constructed with only the best of the best. The 327 V8 starts up every time with no issues. The block and heads are coated Chevrolet Orange and are topped with "Chevrolet" chrome valve covers. It has tons of other chrome components including the circle chrome air cleaner, chrome alternator, polished manifold, polished brackets, and more. All of the wiring and hoses are cleanly routed and mounted out of the way. There is no electrical issues especially being backed up by the MSD 6A box, MSD Billet distributor, and fresh Delco battery. The engine compartment is all nicely coated a glossy black that makes for a very clean look. The ceramic hood hinges and polished radiator support also add to that slick appearance. The car has a beautiful sound through Ram Horn manifolds into 2" Flowmaster exhaust. Backing up the motor is a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts with no problems.
The interior of the car matches the paint and is in great condition. It is all original with matching mats. The bucket seats are comfortable and have the added matching seatbelts both up front and in rear. Between the seats is the often hard to find SS center console that looks great mounted in place. The dash is in all original condition and everything works. A lower gauge pod is mounted to the left of the steering column to avoid having to do any major modifications. The power steering system works with no issues and makes the car extremely easy to drive.
The trunk has been finished out just as well with a nice mat and grey coating. It houses the Black original jack and has plenty of room. This car turns heads and gets tons of attention. You will love driving around in this classic!
