1962 Chevrolet Impala

If you were hanging around back in the early 60s you probably knew someone who was lucky enough to be cruising around in the vintage Impala. Back in the day this was the car to have. This cool 2 door hardtop is coated in a two tone Charcoal and Silver that has a great shine. The body is entirely rust free and has a great finish. The car underwent a complete frame off restoration where every nut and bolt was gone through. It was finished in 2006. It is currently with its third owner and has been well cared for its entire life. This classic has some great looking trim which is in great condition and very cleanly mounted. All of the correct emblems are on the car and are in great condition as well. This model had the triple rear lights and dual headlights which are all correctly working and the original style. The window is free of all chips and scratches and has a nice tint. Chrome side mirrors are cleanly mounted to each side of the car and are easily adjustable. The car rides on a cool vintage looking style of polished American Racing wheels that work perfectly with this car. They are wrapped in BF Goodrich tires that have plenty of tread.

Under the hood is a 350 V8 that has been built up very nicely. The block has all been coated Black as well as the heads. It is then topped with a polished manifold, Chevrolet valve covers, and a Chevrolet air cleaner. A march serpentine belt system has been added and is the best money can buy. The March custom brackets are in place and really look great. The headers run into dual exhaust and deliver a great sound through chrome tips. A new gear box is in place and the car now has power steering. Keeping the car running nice and smooth is the added Alco radiator. Disc brakes are in place up front and are a nice addition to this muscle car. The 700R automatic transmission shifts nice and smoothly with no problems. The power then goes through the original rear end which has been gone through and operates smooth and quiet.

The interior of this classic is done in a Black but is a little nicer than the normal vinyl you would see. In fact it is all ostrich! Not only is this very comfortable but creates a very cool look. The dash of the car is left in its original style except for the added AM/FM/CD player. All of the trim you sometimes find missing from the dash is still in place and has a nice finish. The original style gauges work just as they should. An Ididit tilt steering column has been added which is topped with a nicely polished billet style wheel with a Chevy bowtie horn button. The AC system utilizes underdash vents and blows cold. The electrical on this car is all nicely run and being a Francis wiring harness you know it will never let you down. The trunk has nicely been finished off in carpeting and has plenty of room for all of your car show supplies.

This nice muscle car is a great driver and has a great look. It has been well cared for and always kept indoors! Get it while you still can!
