1963 Chevrolet Impala SS - 2 Door Hardtop
Not only have you just found a very solid 1963 Impala SS, but you have found one of the nicest restorations out there. Take a seat in this classic and you will be transported back to a brand new 63 Impala rolling off the line. The quality of work that went into this car is something you just cant beat. Every aspect was done right from the paint to the drivetrain and undercarriage. It underwent a complete full frame off restoration where nothing was left untouched. The body is incredibly straight and the Tuxedo Black paint has a beautiful finish. If you think all Black looks the same then you have to check out a car like this. When its done right you just can't beat it. Combine that with all of the beautifully shining chrome and you will be turning heads wherever you go. The chrome bumpers are cleanly mounted and have a great shine. All of the correct stainless trim is nicely in place and in perfect condition. It wouldn't be an Impala without those triple taillights in the rear which sit perfectly in place in a very nice rear bezel. It was restored 100% to factory specifications so all of the emblems, etc are in their correct location. The only customizations were done purely for looks and are found under the hood and wheels. The car has a very solid stance and cruises around on Grey American Racing Torque Thrust wheels which help give it a more tough muscle car look.
Pop open the hood and you will be greeted with a numbers matching 250HP 327 V8. The motor runs extremely well and has an incredibly clean look. Everything has a clean finish with nice paint and chrome everywhere you look. It is small details like the routing of the wires/hoses throughout that impart the quality that really went into the car. The block, heads, and manifold are all covered in Chevrolet Orange which gives it a very original appearance. The customizations mentioned early on the engine include the dual snorkle chrome air cleaner, Corvette finned aluminum valve covers, and dual flow masters to give it a tougher sound. Behind the engine is a 2 speed automatic powerglide transmission that is also entirely numbers matching. The car has power steering and power brakes in place which operate perfectly with no issues.
The interior of the car has an incredible original look that is truly awe inspiring. The styling that went into older classics is amazing and this car can show you what it looked like basically new. It is all finished out in Red and the front bucket seats are very comfortable. They sit to each side of the original SS center console that houses the shifter. The dash is graced with all of the original knobs/switches/gauges and trim that is in great condition. The factory AC system blows cold and utilizes the circle chrome vents in the dash. Look behind the steering wheel in you will find the rare original factory tachometer which works properly. Other rare factory features include the factory Hi beam sensor and working factory AM/FM radio. The car also comes with the original jack and spare which you will find in the trunk.
Take a look around and you won't find a 63 Impala nicer than this. It looks like new and drives just as well. You really have to see the car in person to get an idea.
