1968 Chevrolet Impala SS
If you thought "Super Sport" was restricted to Chevelles then guess again. This classic 1968 Chevrolet Impala is a true SS and was done very well. On top of being a SS this classic is also a convertible! This just adds to the uniqueness and will only drive the price up as time goes on. This is the type of car you invest in. It has been fully restored and was completed only 3,457 miles ago. The body is nice and straight and is coated in nice Red paint. All of the chrome is in great condition and all in place. The bumpers have a great shine and are topped with the correct bumperettes. A long piece of trim runs down the entire length of the car and is in place on both sides. The car has the grills on each front fender which are nicely chromed as well. Dual headlights are up front with triple taillights in rear. All of the electrical works just as it should with no problems. The glass is all nice and clear and has been professionally tinted. Chrome side mirrors are mounted to both the driver and passengers side and are adjustable. The car has a nice solid stance and rides on original style wheels with polished beauty rings. These are then wrapped with BF Goodrich Red Line tires that finish off the look nicely.
Body Tag 11A-0285 ST 68-16467 Body 8-100563 TR 859K Paint R1 Powering up this classic is a big block 427 V8 that packs a punch. It has no problem powering up and getting this car down the road. It was very cleanly done with the block, heads, and manifold all coated in matching Chevrolet Orange. It is then topped with nice chrome valve covers and the correct chrome air cleaner. It has all the right decals nicely in place. The engine compartment was then coated in Black which finishes it off well. The Flowmaster exhaust system is one of the most popular out there and provides a great sound. Behind this is the nicely shifting 4 speed which makes it very fun to cruise around in.
The interior is complete in a beautiful Pearl White vinyl that shows virtually zero wear. This color looks great with the White top and Red paint and is correct for this car. The bucket seats are nice and comfortable with the original console in between. The dash has all been kept in the original style with all the correct knobs and switches. The AM Radio is nicely mounted in place but is no longer working. The gauges all work with no problems as does the factory tachometer. That is because a custom Kenwood stereo has been hidden in the glove box. The carpeting is done in black and is in great shape. It is protected by Impala SS floor mats which are found up front and in the rear passengers area.
This is one cool classic that needs nothing. Hop in this thing and go!
This classic is a great investment at only $59,500.00!
