1968 Impala SS, for sale in Arlington, Texas, for $2,800.
This 1968 Chevy Impala is a good solid project car. It is a 2 door hardtop sport coupe originally built by GM at the Arlington, Texas plant. The body color is code “Y” Butternut Yellow with a code “2” Black vinyl top. The body is pretty solid with only a few minor waves on the front fenders and a small area on the lower left trunk lid. There is some common rust spots on the lower front fenders and lower rear quarter panels behind the rear wheels and under the vinyl top. The body has all the original Super Sport emblems except for the grill emblem. The glass on the car is in very good condition all the way around. Interior features are solid black with the original front bucket seats and center console . The shifter is also the original gate type . The seats and the dash need recovering and there is no headliner. The Super Sport emblems are still on the dash, door panels, and steering wheel. Under the hood is a small block Chevy V8 in running condition with a 4bbl carb and electronic converted HEI distributor. It has a three-speed automatic transmission.
