More and more you are seeing the early Chevelles out cruising the road. These cool muscle cars have a unique look from the later model Chevelles and encompass what a muscle car should be. This 1964 Chevelle is a true super sport making it very sought after in the classic car world. In addition to being a SS it is also a convertible making it just that much rarer. This classic was done in a "pro touring" style where it has a lot of speed and rumble but still some of the nicer luxuries that make it really fun to drive. If miles are not a worry to you this car could easily be driven across the US and back with no issues. The car started out in California and has undergone a complete body off restoration. At that time virtually every component was gone through and replaced. The new Black two stage paint with base coat and clear coat really pops and was beautifully done. The paintjob is something that can really sour a car, but this one was done ride. The bumpers are brand new and have a great finish. In fact, all of the chrome has been replaced insuring a perfect shine everywhere you look. The car has the correct style side trim and accents which are all cleanly mounted in place. The body is mounted on a powder coated undercarriage which not only looks great but is very durable. The front end and suspension system has all been work through with new 1" drop coil springs and rear air shocks. The engine of the car is very nicely done and has a great look. It is a brand new 425 hp 383 Stroker with Englese fuel injection. It is topped with tons of chrome with "Chevrolet" billet valve covers and "Heartbeat" spark plug mounts. Other nice additions include the electric water pump, new aluminum radiator and an electric 2100 CFM fan. The car has an awesome sound and will have everyone checking out what is coming down the road. The 700R4 automatic transmission shifts very smoothly and runs through the drive shaft into a brand new rear end. We mentioned the "pro touring" label before which brings us to the features like power steering, power windows, power brakes, and power top. This car is all muscle but it still has some room for comfort. It is practically like having a brand new car. You can always be assured you can hop in it and go with no worries.

The interior of the car is all very cleanly done in a two tone black and gray leather that is very comfortable. In addition to the leather being new the seat foam is new as well. The bucket seats allow plenty of leg room and are in great condition. Between the seats is a nicely mounted center console with a Lokar shifter. The dash of the car is unique in that it uses a combination of classic and custom parts. An example of this is the vintage polished bezel that now houses the Dakota Digital gauges.

The trunk of the car has been finished out just as nicely as the rest with all Black carpeting. The top of the car is all new Mercedes black cloth with an original glass window. This classic has won many awards from best of show to best interior and best paint/body. In Orange County the car won the Good Guys "cool convertible" beating out not just 60's cars but all convertibles at the show.
