This is one cool classic! If your into the 50's then this is the car for you. Poodle skirts and greased hair belong in this classic that looks like it was pulled out of a time machine. It wasn't always the style it is done in today though. This amazing car has been transformed multiple times and has seen some of the most interesting history around. It was even featured in the behind the scenes on the DVD ZZTop Live from Texas. If cars could talk this one would without a doubt have a wild story to tell. Part of the car's interesting history includes once being sold to a group of boys headed for the drag strip. In the late 50's and early 60's the car was a fixture at the weekend drag strip where the nostalgia drags were king. As if the car hadn't lived a full enough life it was restored once again in 2001 to the classic look you see today.
The beautiful Red paint looks absolutely amazing next to the all the exterior chrome and trim. It shines beautifully in the sunlight and will have everyone around turning their heads. It has the exhaust routed in the rear with lake pipes in place to back up that 50's style. It rides on steel wheels with original style hubcaps and wide white wall tires. All of the exterior has been shaved so door poppers are used to gain access to the interior. Most would just put a switch under the car, but that just wouldn't be unique enough! This classic has switches mounted in the spotlights which look perfect on the car.
The 350 C. I. motor runs incredibly well and looks great. It has chrome Chevrolet valve covers, chrome air cleaner, chrome alternator, polished a/c compressor, and much more. It has all steel braded lines that are routed and mounted cleanly. The power brake booster is coated in matching Red to give the car a very clean look. Even the spark plug wires are Red! It has plenty of power and is a great cruiser. The Turbo 350 automatic transmission shifts very well with zero issues. It has been converted entirely to a 12 volt system to make buying replacement parts a much easier task.
The interior in this car is out of this world. It is finished out in Red and White tuck and roll style everywhere you look. The upholstery work on this car is very high quality and very well done. From the floor mats to the rear package tray it is all amazing. The dash is coated in Red and very beautiful. All of the chrome is in beautiful condition and in place. The only custom change made to the original style dash is the addition of Digital Dakota gauges. The original style AM Radio is in place but a custom AM/FM/CD player is mounted under the dash. The polished Grant steering wheel looks amazing on the tilt steering column and is wrapped in matching White. Little details are found in features like the Red and White dice door locks that match the tire valve stem caps. The Air Conditioner works great and will freeze you out even in Texas heat.
The trunk is finished out just as nicely and houses the spare wheel. This car needs absolutely nothing. It is a great driver that gets attention wherever it goes and always takes the trophy. This is an amazing classic with an amazing history for
