Chevrolet Belair Hardtop, for sale in Arlington, Texas, for $38,500.

The tri five Chevys are always popular and will continue to become rarer as time goes on. These cars get looks where ever you take them and are a great investment. This classic 1955 Chevrolet Belair Hardtop is in great condition and runs down the road very well. The build was completed in 2006 and only driven 3,596 miles since. It underwent an entire body on restoration where it was taken down to bare metal. This insures zero rust or any surprises under that paint. The passenger floor pans were also replaced during this process. It is coated in two tone Red-Orange and Sand Beige which looks awesome on these cars. It is buffed out and polished to a beautiful shine that looks great out in the sun. The Sand Beige color is unique in that this off white appearance actually gives it a more nostalgic look. All of the correct stainless trim is in place and nicely mounted. Even the trim running from the back of the front fender through to the rear is in place which you see a lot of people removing from these cars. This time of trim piece can be very difficult to track down and very costly once you find them. That's why it is a great feature to have these in place. The front and rear bumpers are nicely chromed and have an amazing shine. Another cool feature on this classic is the rear fender skirts which you don't see everyday. The glass is all in good condition except for a small crack on the right rear glass. The car rides on steel wheels with the vintage style hubcaps. The wheels are wrapped with Wide White Goodyear Radial tires that look perfect on this type of car.

Under the hood of this classic Chevy is a smooth running 265 V8 that gets down the road with no issues. The block, heads, and manifold is nicely coated in a matching color and really cleans up the look of the motor. Being mounted in a nicely painted engine compartment also adds to this. Chrome valve covers look great and along with the chrome circle air cleaner look great. The engine is connected to a 2 speed powerglide into the rearend with 3;73 gears. With this combination, the car is running at 2700 to 2800 rpm at 70 mph on the freeway. To keep the car running cool at all times is the aluminum radiator with dual electric fans that are nicely mounted. An electric fuel pump has been added along with air shocks which are nice upgrades. Some other added luxuries include the power steering, Vintage AC/Heat, and power brakes (disc in front, drum in rear. ) The car has a nice sound through dual exhaust that is routed through the rear.

The interior in the car was nicely done in Orange and Tan that is nicely done. It is comfortable to ride in with plenty of room on the front and rear bench seats so load up the kids and take them to a car show. All of the interior trim and hardware from the headlight switch to the door handles have a nice shine and are cleanly mounted. The headliner bows are nicely chromed and have no dents or dings. The dash is cleanly done the only customizations being the all in one white faced gauges. The original AM radio is in place but isn't hooked up to work. However an added AM/FM/CD/Mp3/wma stereo is in place and sounds great. It is Sirius satellite ready which is nice to have. The chrome tilt Ididit steering column looks great in place and is topped with a Banjo style chrome steering wheel. The trunk is nicely finished out and houses the battery and spare wheel.

This car would make a great addition to any collection. The car shows very well and gets a thumbs up wherever you take it. Don't miss out on this opportunity.
