Playing off the famous General Motors' traveling exhibit called the Motorama, Chevy's tag line in 1955 was, Motoramic Chevrolet and this beautiful 1955 Chevrolet 2-door post sedan, just off a restoration is one handsome example. The Mystic Silver Metallic paint is smooth, glossy and very appealing. To compliment this paint job is a detailed interior and trunk lined with red ultra leather. And the chrome and all the stainless steel trim looks great. To power this Chevy is the reliable 350cid small block V-8 that is mated to a TH350 automatic transmission. During the restoration power steering, power brakes, a tilt wheel, air conditioning AM/FM radio, a CD player, console and other creature comforts were added. To protect this restoration is a set of gauges, dual outside chrome-plated mirrors, front fender stone guards, front and rear bumper guards and much more. To keep this power on the ground the owner decided to go with 235/55/17 Goodyear tires and 17/8 American Thrust II wheels. Smaller 215/55/16 tires are on the front with 16/7's.
