1957 Chevrolet 210 2 Door Sedan
No matter how many cars are at that local show you know when a 57 Chevy pulls in it will pull a crowd. These cars continue to be one of the most popular classics on the market and shows no signs of stopping. The cool 1957 Chevrolet you see here has a very clean look that you just don't see everyday. The combination of White with chrome is beautifully done and looks amazing. The body is very straight and topped with a nice White paint with Red pearl. The front and rear bumpers have are nicely chromed and in great condition. Another neat feature is the rear fins which are normally accented with that same old white slats on the side. This section on this car has been painted a Gray with nice pearl that really give it a cool look. All of the stainless trim is cleanly mounted and in great condition. It is all of the original GM trim which has been straightened and re-polished. Polished mirrors are in place on both the drives and passengers side which are easily adjustable. The glass is all new and has a nice dark tinting. In addition to the glass being replaced all of the rubbers and weather stripping were replaced as well. The car has a great stance and rides on a nice set of Weld 5 spoke drag star wheels with wider wheels in the rear.
Powering up this classic is much more than your typical small block 350. It has been upgraded with a 383 stroker motor that cranks out plenty of power. To get an idea of all the performance components this engine has to offer check out the table below:
Engine stats: 350 4 bolt block Stroked crank Cram Cams HP solid roller custom grind camshaft lift intake 536, exhaust 554 10.25:1 compression Edelbrock performer series aluminum heads (2.02/160 valves, 7/16 in screw studs and grind plates) Heads are custom polished with custom porting Upgraded springs Roller rockers Edelbrock air gap intake 700 cfm Holley double pumper performance carburetor Hooker super competition long tube headers MSD Billet Distributor MSD 6AL ignition box
All of that is backed by a GM aluminum case power guide transmission that shifts incredibly well. As far as suspension the car only has the best of the best with OEM suspension up front with all new bushings and tie rods. The new power CPP disk brakes utilize Ford calipers in rear and GM calipers in front. The car stops with no issues. The Ford 9" rear end has been narrowed to fit the rear leaf springs and utilizes 3:89 gears.
The interior of the car is done in a Black and Gray two tone that was nicely done. It utilizes a high back bench with foldable arm rest up front and the original tri five seat in the rear. It was just re-upholstered with the carpet and headliner being replaced as well. The dash of the car has that original look except for the added tachometer which works like new. The trunk of the car is painted white to match the car and has a nice black rubberized mat. There is no spare currently but the original spare housing is in place.
This is one cool classic that needs nothing. Approximately 40K was invested on the 2 year restoration just 1,000 miles ago.
