1956 CHEVROLET 210 STATION WAGON -Body: Stock Repainted original colors (Dusk Plum & Ivory) New Chrome and Polished Stainless -Engine: 283 Chevy Edelbrock 4BBL Carburetor (500CFM) Polished Intake Chrome Alternator Aluminum Water Pump Mallory Unilite Distributor Coated Headers with dual exhaust -Transmission: Turbo 350 -Miscellaneous: Aluminum Radiator with Spal Electric Fan Torque Trust II Wheels 2" Dropped Spindles Front Disc Brakes Power Brakes Power Steering with 605 Steering Box -Interior: Stock with some modifications Tilt Steering Column with Lecarra Wheel Auto Sounds Radio with 10 Disc Changer Rebuilt Gauges by Redline with mods to update Alarm with Keyless Entry -Present Owner's Narrative: I have owned this car for about four years. I purchased it from a friend that had the restoration work done around 1996. The vehicle was stored (and still is stored) inside but driven infrequently. When I acquired the car it was not running but had great potential. The paint and interior were great however a few systems could be updated to improve reliability and drivability. Listed below are the additions and updates made within the last four years. New rear leaf springs New rear end gears (to reduce RPM at speed) New rear brakes, brake cylinders, and flexible brake hoses New rear axle bearings New drive shaft U-joints New front brake calipers and flexible brake hoses New front wheel bearings New brake booster and master cylinder New fuel sender New Edelbrock Fuel Pump New transmission cooler Converted engine driven fan to electric with Spal fan and shroud Rebuilt gauges to look 'stock' but include a voltmeter and temperature gauge Converted taillights to L.E.D. Re-furbished license plates New wheels and tires Replaced wheel studs with longer ½ x 20 for safety New Edelbrock Carburetor New Lokar Pedal, throttle cable, and kickdown cable.
