It is outfitted with the 1 cylinder engine known as "little hercules" by leland and faulconer. A water cooled 1 cylinder with 2 speed planetary transmssion. Henry leland was brought into the company as a consultant to approve the plant so it could be sold. He showed the owners the engine rejected by Olds and suggested they continue the company, thus Cadillac Automobile Co was founded 1902.
The first car went to the New York Auto Show in jan of 03 where William Metzger, Sales Mgr. Sold an astounding 2285 cars by mid week when he declared they were sold out. The new Cadillac looked like a "jewel from Tiffany". This Cadillac enjoyed a total in depth professional restoration. It was completely researched to authentic original perfection.
