The Buick Wildcat was a vehicle produced by the General Motors Buick Division from 1963 to 1970. It was a full-size car and took its name from a 1953 fiberglass-bodied concept car. It was a subseries of the Buick Invicta in 1962 and started out as a hardtop, two-door coupe.

The Buick Wildcat was considered to be its own series from the model year 1963 until 1970. To differentiate the Wildcat from the Invicta, it was given a unique emblem of its own. This emblem featured the stylistic head of a wild cat. After becoming its own series in 1963, the Wildcat added a hardtop, four-door sedan and a convertible to its lineup. The four-door model featured a standard bench seat but there was an option to upgrade to the bucket seats and console that was featured in the coupe model.

In 1964, there was a pillared sedan with four doors added to the series and two styles of trim became available. There was a limited deluxe subseries for 1965 only. From the years 1966 to 1969 the only options were the base or custom trims. In 1967, a new engine was brought to the Wildcat line and a 430 cubic-inch V8 engine with a four-barrel carburetor became the standard for the series. The 430 cubic inch engine was short-lived, however and was replaced by the biggest Buick V8 engine to date. The 455 cubic inch had the same large valve design as the previous engine and featured a horsepower of 370. The torque rating was more than 500 pounds.

A one-year only Buick Wildcat "Grand Sport Performance Group" was available for order in 1966 by choosing the "A8/Y48" option. Two choices of engine were available for this option. The name Wildcat was used by Buick for five concept vehicles, three of which were in the early 1950s while one was in 1985.

The final concept vehicle was in 1997. The 1954 Wildcat II, as well as the 1955 Wildcat III, was designed under guidance from Harvey Earl. The Wildcat I and II concept vehicles are still in existence today. The Wildcat was offered in Custom trim only for its final year in 1970 and the car was replaced by the Buick Centurion in 1971.
