Our 1948 Buick Super 50 Convertible is a show-quality example, fresh from a recent complete body-off restoration. Fewer than 150 of these classics are known to exist. Because of its post-war place in history, its Harley Earl design influence and enduring popularity, collector - values for this model are strong.

The glistening black body with an interior of red wine leather and white top highlight one of Buick's most elegant and popular post-war designs. Inside and out, every inch of this car is dazzling, authentic - as perfect as you would expect - and ready for invitational showings - a result of over 2,100 man hours of restoration work.

All mechanical components have been rebuilt during restoration & operate as new, including the electro-hydraulics which control the power top, windows, front seat.

This convertible's equipment includes its fully restored and well-maintained original Fireball 8 cylinder 248 CID/144 HP engine, which comes to life easily, runs smoothly and performs like new. The Fireball was Buick's famous workhorse - the engine that wouldn't quit, & this one is connected to the car's equally strong original 3-speed column-mounted manual transmission.
