Bentley Continental Drophead, for sale in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for $59,500.
The cars we know as a Rolls Royce Corniche coupe and drop head coupe (convertible) were actually introduced as the Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward two door fixed head coupe and drop head coupe. When the Bentley versions were introduced they were called Bentley T type Mulliner Park Ward two door fixed head coupe and drop head coupe. The names proved rather clumsily and eventually the Rolls models became the Rolls Corniche coupe and drop head coupe. The Bentley versions became the Bentley Continental coupe and drop head coupe.
Only one Bentley Continental was made for every eleven Rolls Corniches making the Continental quite an exclusive find. Our Continental drop head is one of only five made in 1995. It came to us from a long term owner who traded it on a Ferrari. The Bentley has been well kept with a recent service.
