The Auburn Salon model was the super deluxe version of the convertible sedan. Icon designer, Alan Leamy, was chief designer for Auburn and this is his work of art. Notable changes in the Salon from the custom was all the lights, grill, fenders, and famous bow tie bumpers. It was powered by the 8 cylinder Lycombing engine Lhead with the 2 speed Columbia dual ratio freewheeling 3 speed floor shift. This car is in wonderful condition after being body off professionally restored 20 plus years ago. The engine and Transmission were rebuilt. The racy fold down windshield with dual side mounts makes this a work of art and a full classic by Classic Car of America. This Salon loaded with all options from metal clad side mounts to the all metal trunk. It is the proud brother of the ACD trio known as the Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg.
