Back in early March, the 17th annual Amelia Island Concourse took place. A little while ago, but I've only just now found this terrific short film about the event. It was shot and put together by Justin Lapriore, and it is called Past Glory (Gran Turismo Omologata).

It is just short of ten minutes long, and is worth your time not only for the sight of these beautiful cars, but also their sound. The Ferrari 250 GTO might be the star of the show, but there's more there to see for lovers of other marques. Watch around the 4:45 mark, and see the Ferrari 250 GTO that was sadly involved in a serious accident last week.

You'll see cars arriving in the early morning for the Concours d'Elegance, a small slice of the auction, car judges conversing with owners, and a dream group of cars taking a turn about the island and surrounds.
